Essexbased Contemporary Artist Donates 5 Percent of All Sales to HEAL...

The sale starts early at www.clairemackaness.co.uk as Claire prepares to sell her work and prepare for her new spring/summer collection.



After a recent health scare and loosing close friends and family to cancer, Claire has decided to make this gesture towards helping those who are suffering with the disease.



For just over a month, all sales at www.clairemackaness.co.uk will generate a 5% donation to HEAL Cancer Charity which stands for Herts, Essex and London.



HEAL Cancer Charity Ltd. is a registered charity which was formed by patients, medical specialists, and those close to cancer patients and their friends and families in the Herts Essex and London area.



HEAL was registered as a charity in 1996 with its three pillars, research, equipment and holistics. Its name being an acronym of the area that it serves, it neatly captures the aims of Chairman, Professor Neville Davidson and his colleagues and the aspirations of patients and supporters.



Within the framework of HEAL Professor Davidson chose to set up local Groups within the wide area he serves. Obviously this wider community benefits from equipment and holistic services provided by HEAL and from results of research.



However since many of those involved in the Groups have either experienced cancer themselves or their families have been affected by it, he is keen that Groups should, besides raising money, offer each other mutual support.
