Greg Thompson Returns to Harrahs with New HighEnergy Shows

Reno, NV June 15, 2006 -- Harrah's8217;s has signed on two high-energy shows, new to Sammy's8217;s Showroom this July. Producer Greg Thompson returns with Let the Good Times Roll and Rock my Ride; two shows that promise nothing short of a good time.

   


Packed with happy music, loads of humor and high-energy dancing, Let the Good Times Roll is a big-hit production loosely combining characters of the hit movie 's8220;Grease's8221; and television favorites, 's8220;Happy Days's8221; and 's8220;Laverne and Shirley.'s8221; However, Thompson says a 's8220;Revenge of the Nerd's8221; plot-twist sets this show apart from others of its kind.

   


's8220;Guests will open their hearts to the show's8217;s nerdy character known as Squiggy as he struggles to 's8216;someday be as cool as Elvis,'s8217;'s8221; said Thompson. 's8220;The audience will be amazed at how Squiggy transitions into the 's8216;King of Rock n's8217; Roll's8217; and provides a 10 minute mini-concert that never fails to please.'s8221;

   


Joining Squiggy on his journey to Rock n's8217; Roll royalty, are characters that resemble such television legends as the too-cool 's8220;Fonzie,'s8221; the too cute 's8220;Sandy,'s8221; and a wise-cracking 's8220;Rizzo.'s8221;    


   


Let the Good Times Roll opens July 7, 2006 and will run through July 21, 2007. Showtimes are 7:30pm Wednesday through Monday. Tickets start at $29.95 and can be purchased by phone at (775) 786-2900 or in-person at the Sammy's8217;s Showroom box office Wednesday through Monday.

   


Rock my Ride may be the solution for guests looking for something a little steamier. Thompson describes the late-night topless revue as 's8216;every working man's8217;s fantasy.'s8217; A combination of motorcycles, guitars, cars and girls, Rock my Ride will entertain audiences with its sexy choreography and high-energy music.

   


Built around a funky garage setting and a full-size car, audience members will watch as the sexy line of topless dancers transform a single beat-up clunker into a fast and furious ride.

    
    


A good time is to be had by all, as Thompson mixes rock n's8217; roll, hip-hop and current country hits with hot rods and muscle cars.
