Napavine, WA June 16, 2006 -- The Napavine Amphitheater announced one of the Northwest summers biggest country weekends with back to back country chart toppers complete with number 1 hits and ACM awards to boot.



STEP 1: Sunday, September 24th kicks it with newcomer Jason Aldean, in his only northwest appearance this season and whose credentials for 2006 would make any country veteran proud, his 2006 album has already racked up a new ACM Award for Top New Male Vocalist and the debut effort, a top 10 called 's8220;Hicktown's8221; made him a household name.



2006 also brought his first number 1 single on both Billboard and R&R charts with his second release 's8220;WHY's8221;, written by John Rich, Vicky McGehee and Rodney Clawson. The hit song also spent two weeks in the top spot on CMT's8217;s 's8220;Top 20 Countdown's8221; and three weeks at number one on Music Row's8217;s chart. And that's8217;s just Step 1 for the Napavine Amphitheater.



STEP 2: Monday September 25 brings country rocker Keith Anderson. Anderson is truly an artist that has also been nothin's8217; but a hit machine since day 1 with his first song 's8220;Pickin Wildflowers's8221; which sat at #1 last summer for 3 weeks and the follow up 's8220;XXL.'s8221; Keith currently has a top 10 single with 's8220;Every Time I Hear Your Name's8221; and even enlisted Dr. Feelgood himself Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame to help out on the hit video for 's8220;XXL.'s8221;
