San Diego Magician Kevin Viner Entertains Diners at Calypso Cafe



Corporate magician Kevin Viner has recently begun performing magic at Calypso Caf, located in Encinitas, CA.



A native to San Diego, Kevin has performed magic since he was five years old. When he isn't busy performing at the world famous Magic Castle, or switching places with his assistant in the blink of an eye for a corporate event, he likes to spend time performing restaurant magic. "[Magic is all about people. The tricks are secondary. If you can't immediately establish a rapport, most of the magic is gone before you've even begun." says Viner. He adds "The spotlight is fun, but it lacks personal interaction. That's what makes restaurant magic so special."



And the diners have been very pleased. "We come in here every week, mainly for the live music," says longtime Encinitas resident Steve Thompson. "But the restaurant has really outdone itself this time. I've never seen anything quite like what Kevin did at our table. It was unbelievable."



Kevin Viner performs Friday and Saturday nights as his schedule allows.
