Scholarship Offered To Screen Actors Guild Members



Every year SAG (Screen Actors Guild) provides applications for the John L. Dales Scholarship Fund, created in honor of the guilds long time Executive Secretary. For the past 25 years, this scholarship has given guild members and their families the chance to receive higher education by providing millions of dollars for study at institutions of higher learning.



To qualify for the scholarship you must be a SAG member. There are two kinds of scholarships, "The Standard", which provides money for guild members and their families to attend accredited colleges, and "The Transitional" scholarship which offers experienced guild members the chance to broaden or change careers (trade schools, certifications, ect.) The deadline for applications is March 15, 2006.
