Simply Connected Launches CollabortiveEffort.net

A unique website was launched on June 1st, to create a short story written by many authors, a paragraph at a time.



CollaborationEffort.NET was created by Cameron Webster, an Internet enthusiast who enjoys the creative side of developing websites in his spare time.



The aim of the site, http://www.CollaborativeEffort.net is an experiment in enabling many people to write a short story, one paragraph at a time, with a new paragraph added to the story every day, by someone different. Anyone can submit a paragraph, which will then be voted on, for a ranking on the day, by other site users. In simple terms, the ranking system is based on the sum of the number of votes received, and divided by the length of time the proposed paragraph has been visible and available for receiving votes. Based on the proposed paragraph ranking by users, and the editors, the new paragraph is selected at the end of the day.



How the story will unfold is a complete unknown and is in the hands of the potential millions of Internet users across the globe.



The first paragraph was written by the founder and senior editor of CollaborationEffort.NET. The second paragraph will be written and proposed by anyone willing to participate in the first week, where upon the a new paragraphs will be added each week day. Paragraphs submitted on a Saturday or a Sunday will be included in the Monday submissions, ranking and selection.
