The Imaginative Realism of Gerhard CF Miller

Please join us at Monfort's Fine Art (423 Main St., Racine, WI) for dessert and refreshments and meet Gary Miller, the grandson of Gerhard CF Miller. Gerhard CF Miller of Sturgeon Bay, WI lived to be nearly 100 years of age and painted throughout his life using a watercolor/egg tempura technique. While Gerhard's work hangs in museums and private collections around the world, his family has made his work available as limited edition, giclee prints.

Come see the newest Gerhard CF Miller releases: Count Dracula's Castle (Burg Bran of Transylvania, Romania), Castle Segovia (Alcazar, Spain), The Weaver (from Guatemala), and The Shiner's (pirates of the Great Lakes).Count Dracula's Castle, which is being featured this month, is a dark and moody depiction of the place made famous by Bram Stoker's "Dracula" book, and Gerhard was fond of saying that "the light in the upper window is evidence that Vlad is home tonight."
