Will Grace actor Leslie Jordan shoots film scenes at Midtowns Pergola



Leslie Jordan, the diminutive actor best known for his recurring role on NBC's8217;s popular television comedy, Will & Grace, recently filmed scenes for an upcoming movie he's8217;s working on at Pergola, a home accessory, furniture and gifts store in Midtown on Piedmont Avenue.



's8220;Pergola was the perfect place for the shoot,'s8221; said Jordan, who loves to shop. 's8220;We were looking for somewhere that sold lamps, but Pergola was better because it has all sorts of really different things you don's8217;t see everywhere,'s8221; he said of the store, which opened last November. 's8220;Plus the location was convenient's8230;close to the theatre where I was doing my show, and all my other favorite Atlanta spots,'s8221; he said.



Jordan has built quite a fan base in Atlanta, bringing successful, sold-out runs of his one-man show, 's8220;Like a Dog on Linoleum,'s8221; to the 14th Street Playhouse the past two years.



's8220;It was a hoot having Leslie in the store all day for the shooting,'s8221; said Brant Moll, Pergola's8217;s owner. 's8220;He is just as crazy and funny in person as he is on stage and screen's8230;and he will say anything! Our customers and I spent most of the day laughing,'s8221; he said.



Jordan takes 's8220;Like a Dog on Linoleum's8221; to San Francisco next, where it will run from June 8 through July 2.



's8220;But I can's8217;t wait to get back to Atlanta again and do some more shopping at Pergola,'s8221; he said.
