Begun in July of 2005, Yummy Magazine has taken 6 months of collecting articles and ideas to come into print. To make sure of the success of the magazine, owners Adam Torkildson and
Daniel Thompson surveyed the local college population concerning interests and entertainment ideas. What Dan and Adam found was that most of the students were between 20 and 22,
interested in becoming famous, and would be willing to pay a little money for a chance to be known in certain circles. Knowing the interests of the demographic who would be most likely to
read Yummy has helped in publicity and excitement for the release this month. While Yummy Magazine is dedicated to promoting talent in Utah Valley, entertainment news and events will also
be a close second in magazine content. Every two months Yummy will decide a candidate to be featured in the Entertainment section of the magazine, and publicize this person/group to help
them in a career in their chosen field.
