New York City event taps experts on current China issues including the recent People's Congress, product recalls, selling to China, and China finance. China business experts Michael Zakkour, Larry Delson and Michael Balaban will provide up-to-date analysis and advice on doing business in China now and in the future.

New York, New York January 3, 2008 -- In an effort to help New York Businesses further navigate the complex landscape of doing business in China, Northfork Bank will host a China Business Seminar on Tuesday January 8th at 8:00 a.m. at its 57 West 57th Street location.

"A China Strategy is an essential part of global business today, but the sheer volume of available information and misinformation often makes it difficult for American businesses to make informed strategic decisions," said scheduled speaker Mchael A. Zakkour, Managing Director of China BrightStar, LLC. "North Fork's China Business Seminar will bring the most noteworthy of these current issues into focus in an open and interactive forum."

The free seminar is open to the public and media and will address important current issues affecting U.S.-China business relations.
