UK Hide Becomes the Authorised Distributor of Connolly Autolux and...

January 20, 2005 -- UK Hide Ltd, announced that it has become the authorised distributor of Connolly Leather, buying up large quantities of leather when this world-renowned industry name ceased trading. We hold stocks of original Connolly Autolux and Autocalf hides, and are still working with members of the Connolly family, making Autolux, Autocalf and Vaumol to the original specification colours.



Autolux Range stocked

This premium leather was the flagship of the Connolly range used for decades by Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Jaguar and many more (http://www.ukhide.co.uk/autolux.html). Supple and naturally finished but with no embossed grain, it is specially tanned to retain its shape and durability and has a vast range of colours. It has also been used in the House of Commons and Windsor Castle and is favoured by interior designers and boat manufacturers.



At UK Hide we keep in stock at all times a selection of the most popular colours shown on the sample selector bar below, but can supply any one of the hundreds of colours included in this extensive range through our Bespoke Leather Service.



Autocalf Range stocked

The Autocalf range was developed by Connolly to run alongside the Autolux range using the same colours as Autolux but at a more affordable price (http://www.ukhide.co.uk/autocalf.html). Ideal for the automotive trimmer, this versatile collection can be used in a wide variety of old and new cars. The hides have an embossed grain and are hardwearing yet soft and supple.
