Community National Bank Now Offering Remote Deposit Capture



Community National Bank announces the newest addition to their service offerings, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC). RDC is a service that allows customers to use image technology to produce an electronic deposit, eliminating a trip to the bank and streamlining business processes.



The basic requirements needed to participate in the new RDC service include a personal computer, an internet connection and a check scanner. Community National Bank is one of the few banks taking a hands-on approach in assisting customers wanting to utilize the service, offering personal onsite setup and training with yearly onsite reviews.



"As a 'Community' bank we want to provide the products and services our customers want and deserve. Remote capture is tailored to meet the needs of our commercial customers, especially those that do not want to take time away from their business to make their deposits," stated Community National Bank Chairman and CEO Randy Dobbs.



"Deposits can now be made online in a safe and secure environment, which allows our commercial customers accelerated clearing and improved availability of their funds. This in turn results in working capital and improved cash flow for their business," added Dobbs.



While Dobbs explained that remote capture is ideal for small businesses that need a commercial grade deposit service solution, he underscored that RDC has broad market appeal among an array of industries - accommodating the corporate and commercial segments and low volume and high dollar deposits alike.
