InCharge Announces Appointment of Greg Gogan as President

InCharge Debt Solutions Canada (IDSC), a registered charitable credit counselling and financial education organization, recently announced the appointment of Greg Gogan to the position of President. Formerly serving as Executive Director of the organization'ss Toronto headquarters, Mr. Gogan will now oversee all aspects of the non-profit organization'ss operations, including its operational and financial performance. Mr. Gogan will report directly to the IDSC Board of Trustees.



Gogan has over twenty-five years of experience in the financial services sector. He began his career in the insurance industry as a licensed representative with a major Canadian insurer, and then established his own fee-based financial planning practice in Montreal. For ten years, Gogan advised clients in all areas of financial planning, including estate planning and wealth management. He has developed and conducted educational seminars for the general public, with a particular focus on debt and credit management, and has been a frequent guest expert on local radio.



Since joining InCharge Debt Solutions Canada, Greg has proven to be an exceptional leader, with a true passion for financial literacy and education, noted David Warner, trustee and former speaker of the Ontario Legislature. Having watched Greg'ss commitment to the needs of debt distressed individuals all across Canada, I and many others in our organization proudly welcome him to the helm of IDSC.



Gogan began his position with InCharge Debt Solutions Canada in June 2005 as Executive Director, when the organization first opened its doors. InCharge is affiliated with a best in class U.S.-based non-profit financial education organization, InCharge Institute, who chose to offer services in Canada after receiving hundreds of inquiries per month into their United States office.

Originally from Montreal and currently residing in Toronto, Mr. Gogan has worked in both of Canada'ss official languages and is a Chartered Financial Planner, a designation he earned in 1987.
