NCBA Gets Extreme With New Sponsor

May 13, 2005 -- The National Club Baseball Association proudly announces Extreme Training as the "Official Performance Gear Supplier of the NCBA" for the 2005 season.

Extreme Training adds the NCBA to a list of customers that includes University of Minnesota, IMG, Octagon, Augsburg College, and numerous college players. They also set up training sessions with several high schools for baseball, football, and ice hockey.

In 2001, Extreme Training founder Stephen McCarthy decided to start a company that would help athletes uncover the truths necessary for successful training. The company started with the mission to train and assist athletes around the world to unleash their unique gifts to succeed in life and sport. Their first product was training an athlete on a one-on-one basis. Areas covered were nutrition, mental preparation, and strength training. These personal sessions became the springboard for their team training. Their athletes have gained college scholarships, won state championships, and become elite athletes on their respective teams. Extreme Training will provide all members of the NCBA with 15 percent discounts on all merchandise ordered. They carry a wide variety of products including moisture management shirts from Under Armour and WSI, cold gear apparel (extensive selection of colors available for both), slider shorts, socks, nutritional supplements, and training equipment. Teams ordering between May and October will receive an additional 5 percent discount. Each performance shirt will be fitted with an official National Club Baseball Association logo on the collar or neck. Also teams can personalize their performance shirts with their logos and player names / numbers at an additional cost. Teams can expect delivery of their orders in approximately three weeks. In addition, packages will be provided that offer several specific apparel items for baseball players at a greater discount.
