Alexandria Potomac Little League, one of the fastest growing youth baseball and softball programs in the Washington, DC metro area, is proud to announce the beginning of its third season
on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 11:00 am.
Location of Alexandria Potomac Little League Opening Day Ceremonies will be at Bucknell Elementary School, 6925 University Drive, Alexandria, VA 22307.

Current league president Paul Delaney III and immediate past-president Pat Malone will both be on hand to officiate the ceremony.
Belle View Elementary School principal Robert Davis and Bucknell Elementary School principal Joanne Jackson will be awarded special recognition plaques in honor of their outstanding
contribution to the Alexandria Potomac Little League community.
Baseball and softball teams from West Potomac, Mount Vernon and Edison High Schools have additionally been invited to have their programs recognized by Alexandria Potomac Little
League.
Gerry Hyland (D), Mount Vernon supervisor of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and Virginia House Delegate Kris Amundson (D-44) have been invited and confirmed their attendance for
the event.
Other invitees are Virginia House Delegates Mark Sickles (D-43) and David Eglin (D-45), Virginia Senators Patsy Ticer (D-30) and Toddy Puller (D-36), United States Senators George Allen
(VA-R) and John Warner (VA-R), Virginia Congressman Jim Moran (D-8), Virginia Governor Tim Kaine (D), former Virginia Governor Mark Warner (D), President George W. Bush (R) and Donald
Trump.
