8212; Here's8217;s something new for Buffalo: Christian rock concerts combined with Bisons baseball games. Third Coast Sports, out of Nashville, Tenn., has hosted 's8220;Faith
Nights's8221; at many minor-league baseball stadiums from coast-to-coast, and now they's8217;ve decided to come to Buffalo. In order to make these nights a success, they's8217;ve
partnered with Kingdom Bound Ministries, a dedicated group based in Williamsville, New York, with 20 years of Christian concert promotion experience under their belt. Kingdom Bound is
known the world over for the annual summer Christian music festival held at Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park and camping resort. This summer's8217;s Kingdom Bound festival, August
6-9, will feature MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Third Day, and Newsboys, and 70,000 people from all over the world are expected to attend.
Kingdom Bound Faith Nights will more than likely increase attendance at three Bisons games this season, as the Bisons and Third Coast team up to give fans energetic pre-game concerts
outside Dunn Tire Park. On Saturday, June 3, Mainstay, a cool Minneapolis-based Christian rock band, who recently released their debut album 's8220;Well Meaning Fiction,'s8221; will
appear in concert outside the stadium. During the second date, national recording group The Afters (known for their smash hit 's8220;Beautiful Love,'s8221; as heard on MTV's8217;s 8th
& Ocean series as its theme) will be giving the pre-game concert on Saturday, June 24. Finally, Edison Glass, a band hailing from Long Island, New York, will perform Saturday, July
22, before the game. On that date, Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber from the hit animation series VeggieTales will be in attendance, something kids's8212;and the
young-at-heart's8212;will love. In addition to the concert on each date, a Bisons player will give his personal faith testimony before the game.
Faith Night concerts will start at 5:30pm, while the baseball games begin at 7:05pm. Buffalo-area bands Relevant Worship and One Foot In Heaven will open for the national acts. Relevant
Worship, which had over 800 people attend its standing-room-only CD release party at The Chapel at CrossPoint in Getzville a few months ago, is opening for Mainstay. One Foot in Heaven,
which has played live on 107.7 FM The Lake and Adelphia's8217;s CrossRoads TV show, as well as been featured in Buffalo News's8217; Gusto, among many other media appearances, will open
for The Afters and Edison Glass.
's8220;When it came time to expand our efforts, the Buffalo Bisons were one of the very first teams we contacted,'s8221; said Brent High, president of Third Coast Sports. 's8220;Buffalo
is an ideal place to hold Faith Nights. Family, outreach, fellowship and fun all play into the events. We look forward to being here for many years to come.'s8221;
Kingdom Bound is the title sponsor of Buffalo's8217;s Faith Nights. Houghton College, WLOF 101.7 (The Station of the Cross), WXHL 89.3/90.7 (Reach FM), and Buffalo Printing Company have
also teamed up with Third Coast to help provide Faith Nights for the Buffalo community.
