Sterling Glen of Great Neck, a distinctive supportive living facility, will host a lively all-American barbecue in their spacious courtyard on Sunday, June 4th from 12 's8211;3pm to raise
funds to benefit the venerable Great Neck Senior Center. All are invited to attend.
's8220;We welcome members of the community and beyond to this fun, family-friendly event,'s8221; says Linda Duchin, Community Relations Director for Sterling Glen. 's8220;We's8217;ll have
traditional barbecue favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, corn, salads and watermelon, as well as some great entertainment. And there will be many chances to win fantastic prizes,
courtesy of our local merchants.'s8221;
Admission is a nominal $10 per person, with all proceeds going to help the Great Neck Senior Center. The Center offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of today's8217;s seniors
including nutritional, transportation, adult education, day care, and intergenerational programs. They also offer support groups, adult trips, health screenings, social services
counseling, and referral/information services. 's8220;When you attend the barbecue, you's8217;re reaching out to the community, helping to ensure our
senior citizens have access to the vital services provided by the Senior Center,'s8221; says Ms. Duchin.
