Ventura County Club Basketball Team is Looking to Add a Few Players to Their Club Teams
May 6, 2005 -- Ojai Valley Sharks Basketball Association. We are committed to further developing young players who have shown a talent
for the game of basketball. Our goal is to provide a wholesome environment where young players are given the opportunity to realize their full potential on and off the court.
An equally important goal of the club is to develop our player's character, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We take our position as coaches very seriously and feel fortunate that we have this opportunity to positively influence these children. We believe that our program will instill in the boys a strong work ethic. We will promote education on and off the court and increase self-confidence through skill acquisition while helping build a community where players, parents and coaches share in the responsibility for each child's success.
We offer weeknight and weekend practices and or scrimmages.
We teach fundamentals including conditioning, discipline, individual offensive and defensive skills.
As the players develop they will learn team offensive & defensive skills and basketball concepts. They will also learn the importance of timing, execution & floor management.
We offer year-round training
for the serious players as well as a less intense program
for the player who just wants to improve his or her game.
