June 19, 2005 -- WHISPER will be hosted by model/actress Ki Toy Johnson (from Outkast video 'I like the way you move") and Access Hollywood TV Correspondent and FUSE TV VJ Marianela Pereya. Confirmed celebrities and athletes to attend include the reigning Mrs. Maryland United States 2005 Deanna McCray James, actor Brandon Fobbs (HBO's The Wire), model Camille McDonald (America's Next Top Model Season 2), R&B recording artist Athena Cage, professional track athlete Micheal Walton, NBA players Steve Francis (Orlando Magic), Moochie Norris (Houston Rockets), and NFL players Santana Moss (Washington Redskins), Clinton Portis (Washington Redskins), Darnerian McCants (Washington Redskins), Daniel Wilcox (Baltimore Ravens), Corey Bradford (Houston Texans), Marcus Coleman (Houston Texans), Bobby Taylor (Seattle Seahawks), Shaun 'Big Baby" Rogers (Detroit Lions) and more to be announced.

In an effort to cease domestic violence in the community, all participants have joined forces to raise money for the District of Columbia Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The District of Columbia Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a program designed to assist, provide funds and raise awareness for programs and shelters to end the abuse cycle. Domestic violence crosses ethnic, racial, age, national origin, sexual orientation, religious and socioeconomic lines.
