domestic violence in the community, all participants have joined forces to raise money for the District of Columbia Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The District of Columbia Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a program designed to assist, provide funds and raise awareness for programs and shelters to end the abuse cycle. Domestic violence crosses ethnic, racial, age, national origin, sexual orientation, religious and socioeconomic lines.
