After 30 years of exemplary service, Rose and Taylor Barbershop and Beauty Salon, located in Champaign, Illinois, was recently featured in the News-Gazette, a local newspaper for the Champaign area, for its shoe shining service, which has been offered since the 1940s.

Rose and Taylor, the city's oldest minority-owned shop, has been offering shoe shines to both walk in customers and customers with appointments in the barbershop and salon. Customers can have their shoes shined while they wait, or can drop off their shoes at their leisure. Other services besides haircuts include hot foam and straight edge shaves for men, and manicures and pedicures for women.
