Hairstylist Rallies for WaterCrisis Cause



Green celebrity hairstylist Hasblady Guzman is raising funds and awareness for a cause close to her heart - charity: water (http://www.charitywater.org/).

On Thursday, June 26th, 2008 at 7.30pm, Hasblady will invite the public in to her new flagship salon, Bokaos Aveda at The Americana at Brand. The event will feature a host of celebrity bartenders, signature cocktails provided by Tommy Bahama Rum, food by Frida Mexican Cuisine, and the sounds of DJ Twist, with proceeds being donated to charity: water.

charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water into impoverished communities. In less than 2 years, charity: water has funded more than 600 projects in 11 nations that will provide 250,000 people with clean water.

Bokaos Aveda, located at 757 Americana Way (aka Brand Blvd.) in Glendale, California, is set in a beautiful 2,000 square-foot space with exquisite imported chandeliers, recycled wood-framed mirrors and eco-friendly vinyl and straw mats. Neighbors include the likes of Barneys New York CO-Op, Kate Spade and Tiffany & Co.
