InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Murrieta, Calif., has designed an alternative to conventional bicycle racks for motor vehicles. The inventor has created a prototype.
The K & R SPORTS RACK was developed to provide a convenient way to transport multiple bicycles while still maintaining the functionality of the truck bed. The invention would ensure
that the user can access the bed while the rack is in use. The device also would allow for quick and easy attachment and removal. Furthermore, the modified rack would feature a
space-saving design, and could be modified to accommodate skis and snowboards.
The inventor came up with the idea based on his personal experience. "I found that when I loaded bicycles into my pickup truck bed, they took up almost all the space available," he said.
"I thought there had to be a better way to transport them so that I still had storage room available for other items."
The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept.
