GORE STAPURE Sanitary Gasket Delivers Unmatched SealingPerformance



Gore PharmBIO Products, a business initiative of W. L. Gore 's38; Associates, announces that the new GORE's8482; STA-PURE's8482; Sanitary Gasket is commercially available. The product is made from 100% expanded PTFE (ePTFE), and is designed to meet the new ASME BPE equipment seal standards for sanitary gaskets. It is the only gasket in its class to pass the ASME BPE intrusion categories I and II after 500 SIP cycles. Combining superior dimensional stability with the chemical inertness of PTFE, this new gasket from Gore delivers an unmatched level of sealing performance for critical bioprocess systems.





Featuring full supply chain and lot traceability, this ultra-pure gasket can be used universally and integrated into a variety of different systems. This allows for standardized operations, thus reducing inventory and improving purchasing efficiency. The sanitary gasket is an optimal choice for applications such as process steam, ultra-pure water systems, media preparation, and upstream or downstream processing.
