Sierra Leone Educator Shares a Tale of Hope
May 4, 2005 -- BookSurge announces the release of Light at the Tunnel, by Juliet Tumoe Samura.
Samura's story is one of love and sadness, desperation and hope, lack and abundance, myrrh to gold, darkness to light at the end of
the tunnel . It's a story with a balance; a story that expresses the heart of the author.
Light at the End Tunnel tells the story of a young girl and her struggle to hold her head high and push forward, even after losing her mother and only companion in life. Despite the fact that the little girl is faced with temptation and loneliness, she refuses to harp on the struggles endured by her and her mother and finds it within herself to stay strong.
A timeless tale of hope and inspiration, Light at the End of the Tunnel offers an important lesson of perseverance and overcoming life's challenges to young readers. As they navigate the story of the determined little girl in Samura's story, children will gain a better understanding of the necessity of staying strong through those seemingly-dark periods of life.
"Light at the End of the Tunnel is a nicely paced and ultimately reassuring story accompanied by beautiful pastel illustrations in a riot of joyous colors that is sure to please young children and adult readers alike." - New York Times Bestselling Author Ellen Tanner Marsh
