2nd Annual Spring Lake Historic Inns Authors Tour

Spring Lake, NJ May 31, 2008 -- The Chateau Inn & Suites is participating in the second annual Authors & Inns Tour on Sunday June 8th from 1:00 - 5:00pm.

The Author & Inn Tour event is hosted by the Historic Inns of Spring Lake and the Spring Lake and Sea Girt public libraries. The self guided tour of historic inns also features 12 award winning New Jersey romance authors.

The Chateau Inn & Suites is one of 8 historic inns / hotels (White Lilac Inn, Spring Lake Inn, Villa Park House, Beacon House, Ocean House, Sandpiper Inn, The Breakers Hotel) on the tour that will open their doors to tour goers and host the New Jersey romance writers that will be meeting fans, selling and signing their most recently published books. All Inn guests are invited to a private Post-Tour Reception attended by innkeepers and authors.

The twelve New Jersey romance writers and their most recent publications featured on this Author & Inn Tour are: Annette Blair - "Gone With the Witch", C.H. Admirand - "Pearl's Redemption", Tara Nina - "Curse of the Gargoyle", Dee Davis - "A Match Made on Madison", Kaitlin O'Riley - "One Sinful Night", Irene Peterson - "Glory Days", Amy Edelman - "Manless in Montclair", Lois Winston - "Love, Lies and a Double Shot of Deception", Caridad Pineiro - "South Beach Chicas Catch Their Man", Jan Coffey - "Deadliest Strain", Shobhan Bantwal - "The Dowry Bride", and Nancy Harkness - "Music of the Night".

The Chateau Inn and Suites will be hosting two romance novel authors; C.H. Admirand author of "Pearl's Redemption" a heat warming, heart wrenching and heart pounding Irish western and Tara Nina the author of "Curse of the Gargoyle" an erotic paranormal of a 17th Century Scottish Laird.

Guests staying at The Chateau Inn or one of the other participating inns for the Friday / Saturday weekend will receive a complimentary tour ticket. Guests checking in on Sunday for a 1 night stay will also receive a complimentary tour ticket as well as a special accommodation rate.

The 'Authors & Inns" tour is a $12 per person non-refundable donation with proceeds given to the Spring Lake Public Library & the Sea Girt Public Library.

A total of 500 tour tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting the Historic Inns Association at 732-859-1465, the Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Sea Girt Public Library, The Chateau Inn & Suites at 732-974-2000 or any of the other participating historic inns.

On the day of the tour, tickets can be purchased at the participating inns and the Sea Girt Public Library. Each ticket will include a self-guided map of the Authors & Inns tour. A Historic Inns keepsake tote bag will also be available for tour goers.
