Somatic Digital, a developer of innovative technology-based products for publishers, announced the availability of a prototype eTouchBook Suite evaluation package.
The eTouchBook Suite provides publishers with the ability to create new products. As a hybrid media distribution experience, it enables a new ecosystem of transactions, analytics, and
combined content. As a result, publishers can increase their revenues while reducing their costs.
Included in the evaluation eTouchBook Suite:
1. eTouchBook hardware platform
2. eTouchBook Client software
3. Access to eTouchBook.com for BookDesigner Web Service
4. Print and Digital demo content
5. Mac or PC laptop
According to Jason E. Barkeloo, Founder & President, "Being able to provide an evaluation package to our customer base is a huge milestone for us and potentially for the publishing
industry. The touch user interface technology - or TUI - in the eTouchBook reflects nearly five years of research and development to make printed pages behave like a web page."
The eTouchBook Suite is available for a seven (7) day evaluation period by qualified parties. Evaluation packages are available beginning in September 2008 and at no cost.

About Somatic Digital:
Somatic Digital, LLC is a developer of the Touch User Interface (TUI) technology. This technology creates a "touch screen" out of the printed page by connecting paper directly to digital
content that can reside on optical media, the Internet, or hard-drives. It enables a bridge over the digital divide because it eliminates barriers that previously prevented people from
connecting to digital content. With the press of a finger, stylus or pointer, a physically, visually, or hearing impaired student can gain access to digital content.
