Robust Sales Prompt Solamatrix Inc. to Make Investment of $1.0 Million+ in December 2008 to Upgrade Manufacturing Facility



In the upcoming weeks, Solamatrix, Inc. will begin an upgrade of its manufacturing facility by installing a new regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO). This new equipment will replace the aging and less efficient system and will offer immediate benefits to the company and its customers.

At a cost in excess of USD $1 million, the new system will allow Solamatrix to increase its manufacturing capacity, better control production temperature fluctuation and improve manufacturing efficiencies by reducing the consumption of natural gas and catalysts.

In addition to making better films and realizing operational savings, the new system will also ensure that our manufacturing facility will far exceed tighter federal, state and local air emissions regulations. As such, we will not only be improving our manufacturing facility but we will also be kinder to the environment. The plant improvement will be conducted in late December and early January to coincide with the holidays and thus ensure there is no negative impact on our normal manufacturing processes.
