New Book Helps Christian Singles to Overcome Their Struggles



May 11, 2005 -- Never-married people are waiting longer than ever to get married. According to the U.S. Census report: "America's Families and Living Arrangements: 2003," the median age at first marriage for women is 25.3 and the median age for men at first marriage is 27.1. That's a change of 4.3 years for women and 3.9 years for men since 1970. And according to the U.S. Census Bureau, 43% (95.7 million) of all U.S. residents are single.

Never-marrieds, widowed, and divorced people all have the same basic struggles; loneliness, a sense of incompleteness, emotional pain, physical desires, longing for love, and expectations. In his newly released book, Single servings: 90 devotions to feed your sour, author Lee Warren offers an honest look at these struggles and more. He also explores the benefits of the single life. By sharing both biblical and contemporary stories, Lee Warren encourages singles to find answers to their questions in the Bible.
