May 18, 2005 -- I am writing to announce the release of my book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, My dad is from Neptune. Not only is this an amazing achievement for myself but also I believe that it is a great step I would like to share with my fellow Mississippians.

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, My dad is from Neptune is the true story of a girl who learns how her father's emotional abuse is affecting her in her adult life on the dating scene. The book addresses the stresses how importance of fathers in their children's lives and adds a bit of comic relief equation. This amazing story of self-realization takes place in Meridian, Mississippi.

Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on June 13, 1982, Jana adopted the military lifestyle that was bestowed upon her. The daughter of Jan and John Sylvera always had the writer's spirit but only started penning her words at the age of 13. Jana now resides in Meridian, Mississippi.
