Bards and Sages Writing Contest Seeks Horror Fantasy SciFi Fiction and Poetry
May 26, 2005 -- Bards and Sages announces that it is still accepting submissions for its horror/fantasy/sci-fi writing contest. Cash prizes and publication awarded to winners.
Bards and Sages announces its 2005 writing contest will close on August 1, 2005. Entries should be in the genres of horror, science fiction, and fantasy. Entry catagories are poetry, flash fiction, short story, and novella. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each catagory. All winners will be published in the upcoming anthology "Bardic Tales and Sage Advice," and winners receive complimentary copies of the book upon publication.
To date, the contest has received over 100 entries, with some entrants as far away as India. Reading fees for the contest range from $2-$5, and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Red Cross Tsunami Relief effort.
