Douglas Dougie Christie Jr. Set to Release 2nd Book



Eight-year-old, Douglas Dougie Christie Jr. is set to release his much anticipated 2nd book Dougie Goes to School. Released on the heels of his bestselling book Dougie Learns to Ride, an illustrated children'ss book about learning to ride a bicycle for the first time, Dougie tackles the difficult lessons kids face about growing up and what he learns along the way. Published by Infinite Love Publishing, Dougie Goes to School is a sequel in the DOUGIE'sSLife Series of books.



Dougie is the son of NBA basketball star Doug Christie and mother model/designer and bestselling author Jackie Christie, as well as younger brother to pop star Chantel Chani Christie and he knows firsthand the challenges children deal with each and every day. Sharing his story of going to school, Dougie wants kids to know that no matter who you are, you can overcome anything you put your mind to.



When asked what writing this book meant for him, Dougie replied, I really feel honored to be able to share my life and lessons that I have learned with kids from around the world. I really hope I can help them with any fears or obstacles they may face.



The release of Dougie'ss second book will coincide with many children starting school for the first time or returning to school after a long summer off. Parents are encouraged to use Dougie'ss words to offer support and to help ease any concerns that their own children may be facing. It is an easy read and will encourage children of all ages.
