Great Reviews for Kat Georges Scent of Summer Magnolia

Kat George's debut novel, Scent of Summer Magnolia, has been racking up critical acclaim--a sign that this writer from down under may be going somewhere.

Set in exotic New Zealand, the story follows the newly widowed Charlie Egen back to the town where she grew up--and into a nest of intrigue and Machiavellian machinations.

George's exciting mystery thriller had Copenhagen Chronicle reviewer Diana Deverell raving about "a fascinating world that makes you want to pull up a chair beside the fictional fire and get close to her intriguing characters."

In The Amsterdam Times, Robin Winkel says, "The story begins in the spooky old mansion they borrow and we are taken into a world of secrets, mystery and murder. Tension builds quickly toward the climax as the mysteries are solved one by one; with surprising truths."

According to media spokesperson, Lee Bellavance, Saga-Whyte Press is currently negotiating with George for her second novel.
