About the Author


J. R. Maxon holds Bachelor and Master'ss of Science Degrees in geology that culminated in a career in the oil and gas industry as a Certified Petroleum Geologist and as a national and international Exploration Manager. During this time he emphasized the U.S.'ss need to free itself from dependency on foreign petroleum, and he grew into an expert on global warming, which he plans to write about in future books. Today, Maxon lives and writes in his old childhood home on an island on the Suncoast of Florida.
