New Book by Lou Solomon Calls Humanizing Communication Todays Best...

Interact Skills CEO Lou Solomon explores in her new book Say Something Real the responsibility we have to be more genuine and spontaneous in our communication, if we are to transform business on any level. The book, targeting business leaders, lists the blocks as well as the releases to Authentic Communication.

The book launch reception for Say Something Real will be held at Carmel Country Club on Thursday, February 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The book will be available the following day at local book stores in Charlotte, such as The Bag Lady, on the Interact web site at InteractSkills.com and through Amazon.com.

Well-known author and consumer expert Joe Pine says, If you hope to render authenticity in your offerings, you had better be authentic in your personal and corporate communications. For some, that comes natural. For others, it must be learned - or rather, as Lou Solomon makes clear in Say Something Real, it is inauthenticity that must be unlearned. Follow her path to Authentic Communication.

Woven throughout the book are the stories of thirty authentic communicators such as Mick Mixon, voice of the Carolina Panthers; NASCAR Hall of Fame Director Winston Kelley; NASCAR driver John Freeman, Jr.; former television anchor Janet England; and former Superior Court Judge Shirley Fulton.

Solomon founded Interact in 2000, specializing Authentic Communication in Business. She is a broadcast veteran who established her career in Nashville, Tennessee at WSM Radio 650, Home of the Grand Ole Opry. In addition to speaking and teaching, she writes the column Interacting in Business for the Charlotte Business Journal.
