The epic journey starts from early childhood and follows military travels and experiences in Europe, Hawaii (US), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea and stateside Drill Sergeant assignments. About the Author

Dr. West is local to the Bergen, Essex and Passaic County areas. He was born and spent his early years in Bergen and then Passaic Counties. He later lived in Essex.



As an active participant in the education community, Dr. West taught at Passaic County Community College and William Paterson University.

He also served for several years on Paterson's8217;s Capital Projects Committee and the Passaic Country Community College's8217;s board of trustees, chairing its presidential search committee.
