Fort Worth, TX June 15, 2006 -- Dallas/Fort Worth authors Linda Donahue, Rhonda Eudaly, Julia Mandala and Dusty Rainbolt, wrote a chapbook for Yard Dog Press entitled, The Four Redheads of the Apocalypse. The book had a preview debut at ConQuesT in Kansas City over Memorial Day weekend and was a big success. Dusty and Rhonda weren'st able to attend, so the official debut will be at ApolloCon in Houston, June 23-25, 2006.

Death, War, Plague and Famine have died. Now their wives are taking over. Too bad they don'st have a clue how to do their new jobs. Look out, world; here come the Four Redheads of the Apocalypse!



In our story, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse managed to get themselves killed while vacationing on Earth. Due to a microscopic clause in their marriage contracts, their wives are now stuck being the Horsemen (er, women). Too bad they don'st have a clue how to do their jobs.



Some of you may recognize the cover models, who bear a striking resemblance to the authors.



The publisher, Selina Rosen, aided the sales dramatically by promising to wear a pair of stiletto-heeled boots and play Satan in a skit based on the book IF we sell 200 copies. We'sre trying to make that goal by Conestoga in Tulsa, OK, July 28-30, 2006 but if not, then by FenCon in Dallas, September 22-24, 2006.



Sherri Con Barbie Dean convinced Selina to sweeten the pot. If we sell 300 copies, Selina will also wear a skirt in the skit. Those who know Selina know what a riot it would be to see her in high heels or a skirt of any sort. If you who would like to witness this amazing sight, but will be unable to attend Conestoga or FenCon, there will definitely be video.
