Las Vegas Filmmaker Starts new Feature Film True Intent



The government has fallen into the hands of wicked men who conspire in the future to revoke the constitution. Treehouse Productions, LLC, a Film Production Company based in Las Vegas announces it'ss new feature film series Crossing Paths. The project registered with (SAG) Screen Actors Guild in March of this year, is to begin filming in approximately 6-8 weeks. TRUE INTENT is the first of three feature films in it'ss production with FEATHER & THE STONE and FATHERS OF THE CLOCK to follow in the next 18 months or so as part of a multi-film package.



Producer, Stan Rimer is currently in negotiations with several known Hollywood directors to co-direct True Intent such as Stephen Purvis, who is currently directing the film El Cortez starring Lou Diamond Phillips. Purvis is reviewing the screenplay True Intent for final commitment. Rimer has been asked to be involved in Dead Money with Purvis and Phillips, one of Purvis'ss projects coming up in the fall. True Intent has been presented to Richard Dutcher as Co-Producer or other possible involvement. Dutcher is the Producer and Director of over six award winning films in the last five years. Provo'ss Alex Nibley, producer, and actor in several recent films is showing favorable support to True Intent and has expressed possible involvement to include True Intent with several films Nibley is working on.



Rick Barker, a local residence of Henderson, Nevada will Co-Direct True Intent with two other Co-Directors planned for the film. Barker has 32 years as a Graphic Design and Creative Director, 16 years Business Management and Operation, 19 years Computer Graphic Design / Video Editing Director, 6 years Instructor at Community College, and the Art Institute of Las Vegas, Writer of a number of screenplays, and Film Directing. Barker studied for a short time with Charles Merzbacher, Chairman, Department of Film and Television; Associate Professor of Film BA (hon.), Williams College; MFA, University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. Merzbacher has taught film producing, directing, screen writing, and cinematography at the Film & Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine, and has served as Executive Vice President of Altar Rock Films, Inc. He is a highly successful filmmaker whose films have been honored at the Chicago International Film Festival, Sundance, the USA Film Festival, the Columbus International Film Festival, and the National Educational Film & Video Festival.



Casting Directors, Phil Rimer and brother Stan Rimer say casting is underway for True Intent through August 2006. Stan Rimer has made personal contact and received commitments from a number of actors to play roles such as Iva Franks, Co-Star on NBC'ss Las Vegas. Rimer has communicated with other actors such as Alex Quinn, son of the late Anthony Quinn. Treehouse will begin auditions for supporting and featured roles first in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and also in the LA/Burbank area by invitation starting in September 2006. Treehouse will use a licensed agencies in California, Utah, and Nevada to conduct auditions at no cost to those auditioning. Bill Starkov of EAM Casting (Extras and Models) in Burbank, Ca., having regular contact with big name actors in the Hollywood area, is working with Treehouse to negotiate several lead roles. Treehouse will have an all-star cast that will play out the roles of this action packed film that will keep movie goers at the edge of their seats. With several thousand actors and actresses submitting for roles through a number of online casting sites under the Project name Crossing Paths - True Intent, these online services have helped simplify and reduce production costs normally spent for a film of this level by tens of thousands of dollars which Rimer knows first hand can be a $60 to $70 thousand dollar picnic. Lee Grant Productions headed by Cris Judd and Darren Sher team up with Treehouse Productions to handle things on the music side of 's8220;True Intent's8221; and will assist in creative directing areas. Cris Judd has been involved in a number of films such asBringing Down the House with Steve Martin, and has Choreographed and Co-Wrote music with Jennifer Lopez. Darren Sher is the man behind a good number of music productions in major Las Vegas shows and attractions, as well and co-writing and producing music with Rosalee Carpenter and Stan Rimer in 2005.    
    


   


Synopsis: The story True Intent by Stan Rimer, Screen play by Rick Barker is written to take place in 2033 or perhaps sooner. The U.S. Government has become corrupt throughout the government system and the constitution amended over two hundred times. President Eldon D. Monroe is the U.S. President at the time and has become aware through homeland security of pending attacks on the Government by the FRA. When and how is unknown but a matter of time. Three corrupt Senators, four Generals, a number of High Profile Pentagon and FBI Officials have been meeting together for 5 years in secret meetings to organize from within the U.S. Government a Top-Secret Military Branch sanctioned by Army special-operations supporting homeland combatant commanders. This Military branch being sanctioned from within the system and classified as Top Secret is never questioned by the 1.5 million servicemen and women of the operation under the command of four certain regional Generals. Danny Libonadi, one of the government'ss top secret nuclear physicists and advanced weaponry engineers has developed nuclear fusion cell technology used in the Joshua Project. Danny is persuaded by U.S. Generals and Senators to use his advanced weaponry technology to help overthrow the failing government and is given the position of FRA Commander. The FRA (Federalist Republic Army) commanded by Danny Libonadi and other U.S. Generals, lead the FRA revolution in the film that is organized as a homeland radical extremist rebellion to overthrow the U.S. Government from within.    


   


Treehouse is still accepting application submittals for a number of production related positions. Treehouse plans to use Buena Vista as it'ss distributor or Curb Entertainment as recommended by Purvis to distribute and market True Intent.
