MPFI's next meeting Tues, Aug 9th at 6pm; Tech Track: "Real Time Archiving to DVD"; Feature Program: "High Tech / Newtek - Digital TV Studio in a Box!" plus tour High Tech Enterprises located 4400 118th Ave. N. Suite 203, Clearwater, FL 33762; 727-573-9600.



Our feature program is "High Tech Newtek - Digital TV Studio in a Box!". Ed Griswold of Hi-Tech Enterprises, Inc. will show us Newtek's TriCaster, a live production TV studio in a box. It combines everything found in a television live truck into a box, small and light enough to fit into a backpack. Our Tech Track will be "Real Time Archiving to DVD". Milton Jones, Apex Digital Imaging & Steve Brown, 10-20 Productions will demo and compare capture options to transfer master tapes to DVD. So, join us at Hi-Tech Enterprises, Inc, tour their full service video rental and sales facility, meet, mingle and learn more about media professionals in our industry!



Our meeting includes refreshments and door prizes. Networking 6:00-6:30pm. Tech Track 6:30-7:00pm. Feature program begins at 7:00pm. Free for first time guests and members. MPFI is a non-profit association based in the Tampa Bay Area and provides its members opportunities for professional and technical development, networking, community recognition and vendor support. Our membership includes audio, video, film, multimedia, production, and animation professionals as well as professional actors and voice over talent working on projects from broadcast to corporate.
