Search New Orleans Displaced Sex Offenders Before You Take in Katrina...

The website contains information including names and photographs of registered sex offenders from the State of Louisiana who have been identified by state officials as having possibly been displaced by Hurricane Katrina and as a result is now residing in other areas of the country.



You can view the database located at http://www.crimeweb.net/offenders.asp. Each record also contains links to the State of Louisiana web resources where additional information about these offenders may be obtained.



According to the Louisiana Department of Corrections, they are worried about 300 sex offenders who ordinarily check in at parole offices closed by the storm. The Louisiana Corrections Department has set up a toll-free number 800-342-6110 for displaced sex offenders on probation or parole to register their current location.
