Telly Awards Recognizes The Maslow Media Groups Border Patrol Production



The Maslow Media Group was awarded a bronze Telly at the 27th Annual Telly Awards, held in New York City. The awards honor outstanding local, regional and cable films, videos and commercials. The Maslow Media Group was recognized for its production of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection recruitment video.



The Maslow Media Group produced the video and an accompanying series of public service announcements for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a component under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The agency's8217;s goal was to develop multimedia products to supplement its Border Patrol Recruitment program.

It is a remarkable achievement for all of the winners to be recognized from such an outstanding pool of entries, said Richard Friley, Emmy® and Telly award-winning president of Friley Productions. With a record 13,379 entries from all over the world, the 2006 competition was the most competitive in the history of the Telly Awards.



The Maslow Media Group provides production services, crews, production staffing (freelance and fulltime) and payroll services to broadcast, corporate and government clients nationwide. It is a successful, woman-owned corporation based in Washington D.C. and established in 1989 by a former producer. The company oversees several contracts for outsourcing of media services in excess of $15 million dollars. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.
