Prior to joining Trustmark, he managed the Houston loan production office of the Industrial Bank of Japan with responsibility for $3.2 billion in loan commitments and a staff of 15. Mike led the entry into the Houston reserve-based lending arena for both ABN AMRO Bank and the Industrial Bank of Japan. During the years preceding his banking career, Mike spent time in the audit group of Ernst 's38; Young and served as controller for a firm client. He is a CPA, earned an MBA from the University of Houston and a BBA - Accounting from the University of Texas.
