The 11th Middle East Information and Communication Technology Excellence Awards will be held on the 21st of May 2006 at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai, UAE in conjunction with the 12th GCC
eGovernment Forum. Organized by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute, the awards will showcase the best examples of ICT planning and implementation by business and government
organizations from the Middle East.
This year, the awards will promote a greater sense of achievement amongst regional stakeholders of e-Government, e-Business and ICT. Award winners will be highlighted for their customer
centric solutions and services that really make a difference to people in the region. The categories in which achievement will be recognized are eServices, eGovernment Portals, eBusiness
Portals, ICT Partners, ICT Skills Development, Online Payment, IT Management and Electronic Media.
