CoffeeNet Announces Free Seminars for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

May 8, 2005 -- CoffeeNet announced today its upcoming schedule of free business seminars that will help entrepreneurs launch their businesses. Dr. Gayle Link is leading the seminar series that will take place at CoffeeNet the second Thursday of every month from 7 - 8:30 PM. Dr. Link has started several successful businesses and holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Management Science from Stanford University. These seminars are open to the public and there is no cost to attend. CoffeeNet is located at 3100 Highlands Parkway, Smyrna, GA.

"The goal of these classes is to help entrepreneurs start successful, viable businesses that are personally and financially fulfilling, while aiding in job creation and economic growth. In addition to learning, there will be networking opportunities," said Dr. Link. "Whether someone wants to start a cleaning business, a tax preparation business or a high tech company they will need to be grounded in sound business principals. We will cover fundamentals in areas such as accounting, budgeting, break-even, legal forms of business, market research and financing."

Feedback on the seminars has been very positive. Latrice Coleman, one of the owners of LYLAC, a local catering business, explains," The Start Your Business Now seminar held at CoffeeNet has by far been the most valuable resource that we have utilized since the formation of our joint venture in the catering and event planning industry. Dr. Gayle's presentation focused on business plan principles, branding solutions and she offered constructive feedback concerning our business approach. After implementing her suggestions, my business partners and I refocused our efforts and noticed an immediate growth in "buzz", business generation and positive responses from our current client base. It was definitely an awesome seminar and I cannot wait to attend the next one."

The seminars are held the second Thursday of every month at 7 PM at CoffeeNet. The remaining 2005 seminar schedule is as follows: May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10 and December 8.
