Carlos Cabrera Named Vice President of Sales at Park Avenue Numismatics



Carlos Cabrera has joined Park Avenue Numismatics as Vice President of Sales effective immediately. "We are pleased to have Carlos join us as we continue our growth and enter the next phase of our corporate development," said Bob Green, President and CEO of Park Avenue. Now in his 10th year in the industry, Mr. Cabrera has had the opportunity to place some of the finest rarities in the market. Through dedication and hard work, he has helped many collectors and investors alike to achieve their goals. Carlos has had the pleasure of assisting collectors build some of the finest known PCGS Registry Sets.

He began his career in California at Monaco Financial working as a sales associate distributing many of rarest coins from the S.S Central America Treasure which spurred his interest into the fascinating world of Territorial's and Pioneer gold. As a native New Orleanian, he went back home to jump start Numistech, an on-line numismatic research portal. There he immersed himself in the world of Pattern coinage. Additionally he put together the world's most thorough collection of Gobrecht Dollars in all metals. Recently he had been Vice President at Stanford Coins and opened up business channels with the Latin American market. "Carlos will help us continue to build up our Latin-American client base, a growing market for U.S. rare coins," continued Green.

Among his many areas of expertise, Carlos specializes in Territorial's, Pattern Coinage, Early gold, and specifically $50 gold slugs. He helped to assemble the famed Pacific Rim collection.

Carlos will be located in Houston Texas. He is happily married with his wife of 9 years, Elizabeth and two daughters, Katrina and Elliana. He enjoys fine wines, art, soccer, and traveling.
