OpenClinica to Present at International Conference on Health Informatics...

OpenClinica will be presented at a special workshop of the upcoming International Conference on Health Informatics (HEALTHINF 2009) January 14-17, 2009 in Porto, Portugal. The workshop, titled Open Source in European Health Care: The Time is Ripe, brings together parties interested in how open source eHealth technologies tackle specific challenges within the healthcare sector.

Representing OpenClinica will be Benjamin Baumann, Director of Business Development at Akaza Research, the primary sponsor of OpenClinica. The presentation will demonstrate how OpenClinica enables electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical data management (CDM) (http://www.openclinica.org/section.phpsid=1) for diverse types of clinical trials.
