A witch and vocal coach have joined forces to help business professionals perk up their prospecting skills and scare up more business in the workshop "Irresistible Vocal Marketing"
Saturday, Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Arizona Small Business Association training facility, 4130 E. Van Buren St. in Phoenix.
The fee is $299 and registration can be done online at www.tammystanley.com/workshops/vocal workshop.html. Registration is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
The interactive training session includes: the seven biggest vocal marketing mistakes most business professional make that cost them the prospects they are seeking, the seven elements of
Irresistible Vocal Marketing, as well as training and tips on how to implement what the participants learn and incorporate it into an effective 30-second commercial they can use when
introducing themselves to others.
"With the ever growing need to attract customers, business professionals desire to improve their prospecting skills with training that is unique, specific and efficacious," said Pam
Hillyer, a vocal consultant and former radio voice coach. "Because your voice always introduces you first whenever you meet a prospect, it is your first tactic to create a favorable
impression. Likewise, it is the very means used to covert a prospect into a client."
Although many business professionals are aware they may not use their voices as effectively as they could, both women observed that getting the message across to help business
professionals make the necessary changes to improve is sometimes an obstacle.
"Using the humor of a witch to poke fun at things business professional do, combined with the expertise of a vocal coach, we help business professionals perk up, be open to criticism and
rectify the ineffective 30-second commercials they use when talking to potential clients," said Tammy Stanley (alias Wanda the Witch). "I can get away with a little more than most
presenters because no one expects a witch to be nice."
