Design Yourself Interiors, Inc. (DYI), the leading national provider of do-it-yourself interior design solutions and the creators of life-size, reusable furniture "templates," received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC's national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51-percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman, or women.



DYI was founded in 2004 by two high-end interior designers turned visionary entrepreneurs - Kathy Wagner and Melody Davidson - and is based in Prairie Village, Kansas. Interior designers and consumers nationwide have been using "DYI Templates" - craft paper, life-size footprints of actual-size furniture - to assist in proper interior design before a purchase is finalized. Whether it's a new design or remodel of the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, or home office - DYI provides the perfect fit.



Just recently, DYI released their newest product - Baby Spaces - life-size furniture templates that allow expecting parents to create their own safe, functional and attractive nursery with the accuracy of a professional interior designer. Baby Spaces provides the actual "footprints" for a crib, bassinet, changing table, chest and glider or rocking chair. The do-it-yourself affordable templates show exactly what pieces of baby furniture are needed before purchases are made - and precisely how they will fit in the new nursery space. As an added bonus for the novice expecting parent, DYI placed interior designer tips - 'do's and don'ts' - for furniture placement in a nursery on each template as a guide for new parents.
