Manchester Internet marketing company I-COM International Ltd (www.internetcommunication.co.uk) won the award for the best Search Engine Marketing Campaign at the Drum Awards for Digital Industries.
The award was open to all online marketing companies based outside London and the M25 area. I-COM initially qualified into the final three but was up against an entry from one of the
largest SEO Companies in the UK and Europe, Bigmouth Media.
I-COM's DADI award entry was a combined SEO Press Release and Pay-per-Click campaign for Manchester-based law firm Pannone LLP. The campaign targeted new clients for the law firm's travel
litigation solicitors following a serious outbreak of food poisoning at two hotels in Bulgaria.
I-COM's campaign generated a 100-fold return on investment for Pannone LLP within 90 days. A year after the campaign, the law firm still has number one natural listings in Google for
targeted phrases; extending the return on investment even further.
On presenting the award, the event host remarked upon the spectacular return delivered by the campaign that helped I-COM's entry stand out from the competition. I-COM's campaign was
chosen as equal first place winner with Bigmouth Media for a non-paid Search campaign for Tesco.
I-COM's Managing Director Tim Roberts said, "Winning this award is fantastic! It demonstrates that the results we achieve combining SEO and Pay-per-Click are truly remarkable. Our SEO
Consultants and Google Adwords Professionals consistently deliver great results for our clients; the DADI award provides some of the external recognition that they richly deserve."
