Impact Systems Inc., (www.impactinfosys.com), a leading provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software tools (http://www.impactinfosys.com/toolsfromimpact/index.asp), deployments and content migrations (http://www.impactinfosys.com/index.asp), today announced the extension of the Compliance-in-a-Box offering with the launch of Compliance-in-a-Box (CiB) Submission Edition.
Compliance-in-a-Box (http://www.impactinfosys.com/toolsfromimpact/compliance.asp) Submission Edition provides a
turnkey solution for regulated content management and electronic submissions. The pre-packaged solution includes EMC's Documentum software, Impact Systems' installation, configuration and
validation, and ISI's leading regulatory submission and publishing tools, delivered on-site for a system that is up and running in six to eight weeks. Additionally, CiB Submission Edition
provides organizations the ability to submit in paper or electronically using the electronic Common Technical Document (eCTD) format to meet the January, 2008 FDA Regulatory Submissions
requirement.
Previously, emerging pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and healthcare companies have been unable to invest in such a system because of cost and resource requirements. CiB can be
implemented in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional content management/publishing systems as a result of the rapid configuration and deployment approach offered by Impact
Systems.
"Compliance-in-a-Box Submission Edition affords emerging life sciences companies the opportunity to have the same enterprise content management and submissions solutions as their larger
industry counterparts," stated Impact Systems President John Nidelcheff. "We are pleased to collaborate with two industry leading compliance providers - EMC Documentum and ISI - to
deliver this robust solution to the small and midsize life sciences market."
Impact Systems and EMC Documentum released the original Compliance-in-a-Box version in 2007, which provides a fully functioning, validated Documentum Compliance environment that is
content-ready, supported by Impact Systems expertise and consulting services, pre-configuration tools, templates, and document types. To date, several successful Compliance-in-a-Box
deployments have been implemented for companies ranging from a global pharmaceutical company and a biotech company, to a global engineering company and an installation in Taiwan.
