Local Furniture Store Raises Funds for Local NonProfitOrganization

During the Month of December, 2008, Nowell'ss asked it'ss customers to extend the season'ss spirit of giving and donate whatever they could to Interact, as part of that organizations's efforts to fund the building of their new facilities in Raleigh, scheduled to open this spring. As added incentive, Nowell'ss offered a $200 discount, good toward the purchase of an Ekornes Stressless recliner, to anyone who donated $50.00 or more. When asked why he chose Interact, Jerry Nowell said, Interact does a phenomenal job serving those in our community who find themselves in violent domestic situations, but who would otherwise have no where to go for assistance. And the new facility that our customers help support with their donations is truly state-of-the-art. It is a model for similar facilities nationwide. We'sre honored to be a part of this.

In a show of appreciation, Interact named a room in their new facility in honor of Nowell'ss.
